What our students are saying

“I am a third-year psych and social work student who is also very math-phobic and anxious when it comes to testing. The numbers blur together, and I panic, even when I know what I'm doing. Because of all this, I decided to find a tutor when I had to take a "stats for psychology" course. I could not have found a better one. I highly recommend Emma as a tutor. With her guidance and patience, I got an A+ in a course that I was honestly just hoping to pass!”

“This was our first year homeschooling and I reached out to Emma for some extra math help (middle school). She is professional and courteous with all communication and scheduling. Most importantly, my son really enjoys working with her and he is doing a great job understanding the lessons when she explains it. My son has some difficulties keeping still and she is patient and does a great job redirecting him. Having Emma's support once a week has been a game changer for us.”

The Journey to Seven Subjects

Founder, Emma, launched “Stats with Emma,” her first tutoring service in 2023. She had personally experienced crying on the floor on the first day of her college statistics class, already frustrated and overwhelmed by the complexity and volume of work. With the right support, Emma went on to study statistics and research at the graduate level.

She has channeled the insights she gained during her education into her own teaching and training of her team of tutors. With a proven track record of facilitating student success, Emma firmly believes every student can reach their academic goals. The online tutoring service grew to offer new tutors and additional study areas, ultimately supporting students in Seven Subjects.
